Juvenile Crime Prevention Council


The purpose of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council is to review the needs of the juvenile population in the county who are at risk of delinquency or who have been adjudicated undisciplined or delinquent, to ensure that appropriate intermediate dispositional options are available, and to make recommendations to the board of commissioners on the level of state funding to be awarded to local delinquency prevention programs.

Iredell County JCPC is seeking program proposals

Iredell County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is seeking proposals for programs that will serve delinquent and at-risk youth. Iredell County JCPC is focused on programs that will address substance abuse treatment or assessment, school behavior problems, pro-social peer rejection and association with other delinquent activity, and a lack of parental supervision. Meeting Schedule (All Meetings Are Open to the Public)

Monthly Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and are held at the Iredell County Public Library, 201 North Tradd Street, Statesville, NC.  The meeting begins at 12:30 pm.

The January 14, 2020 meeting is cancelled.  The next meeting will be February 11, 2020.
