Found Pets
How to help a found pet:
1. If able, safely contain the pet to check for collar and tags
2. Take the pet to a local veterinarian's office or shelter to have the pet scanned for a microchip
3. Report the pet found to Iredell County Animal Services via 24Petconnect website.

4. Post "Found Pet" flyers in the area. Click link for a free template you can use!
5. Keep the pet safe for now - continue to use caution because you do not know everything about the pet and his/her behavior. If you already have pets at home, make sure they are fully vaccinated before introducing another animal into your home. If there are any signs the animal may be aggressive or pose a threat to any person or another animal call animal control dispatch immediately, 704-878-5335.
