ECOM OCTOBER FOOD DRIVE
It was a busy month for the Telecommunicators at Iredell County Emergency Communications but for one Dedicated T/C, it was a drive! Abbie is a Member of the Public Relations Team and she had a vision to Help others without the headset on. She sent an email and asked if she could host a food drive. Without a second thought, the PR Team and ECOM Director decided the answer was a YES! Then Abbie wanted to turn it into a friendly competition amongst the Squads. It was a very close race to the finish line but in the end D-Squad took the Bragging Rights and a pizza party! The ECOM family, and rumor has it, some of the amazing Deputies from the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office pitched in, We raised 432.6 Pounds of food that was donated to Iredell County Christian Ministries!!
I Love being a part of a Family that helps others with or without the headset!!
