On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, a report was filed by Carolina KTM in reference to a breaking and entering that had occurred, and twelve motorcycles and seven battery-operated bikes were stolen with a total loss worth 126,848.00 dollars.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Deputies responded to an alarm at Carolina KTM. Due to the quick response of patrol deputies, another breaking and entering was prevented, with the suspects fleeing the scene by using a stolen Penske truck which had been parked at a business next door.

Detective K. Sherard was assigned all three cases. During the investigation, Detective Sherard obtained camera footage from surrounding businesses that showed a suspect vehicle and a box truck on two different occasions. A positive vehicle identification was made of the suspect vehicle, with the owner being Terrell Joseph Williams from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Through multiple search warrants, it was discovered that Williams was at Carolina KTM during the time of the breaking and entering. This information was verified through the camera footage that was obtained by Detective Sherard.

Based upon all the evidence gathered throughout this investigation, Detective Sherard obtained felony arrest warrants for Terrell Joseph Williams, charging him with Two Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Breaking and Entering a Trailer, Twelve counts of Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, and Seven Counts of Felony Larceny.

Terrell Williams is currently in custody at the Union County Jail in Monroe under a 6,370,000.00 secured bond for his involvement in the incident here in Iredell County and other counties as well. Williams is a suspect in five other agencies’ investigations of similar types of crimes, including armed robbery and breaking and entering.
