Any non-profit organization or political action committee that has A 501 c (3) exemption status can cook and sell food to the public providing the following conditions are met: •Submit a copy of the IRS letter indicating the organization’s 501 c (3) exemption •Complete an application for Exempt Food Vendor and submit it along with the IRS letter to the Public Health Department •The organization can cook only once per month and cannot exceed 2 consecutive days
